European sweater knit is NOT what we consider sweater knit in the US. It is in fact what we call a french terri.
Sweater knit fabric by Hilco imported from Europe, Germany, is not heavier than the Campan knits. It feels in weight like a very good interlock knit but has a brushed back side which makes these fabrics very, very soft and cozy!
